IA’s Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor Exam

Course Outline

To become a CIT, you must:

Register for the exam

Pass the irrigation auditor exam

Comply with the Select Certified Code of Ethics from The Irrigation Association

Remain in good standing. CLIAs must submit 20 CEU per two-year cycle.

Learning Objectives

The three-hour exam includes 125 equally weighted, multiple-choice questions on irrigation audit procedures, soil-plant relationships, irrigation scheduling and equipment/technology.
