Training Services Registration Cancellation Policy


  1. Class registrations are not confirmed until payment is received in full. Rain Bird International, Inc. – Services Division reserves the right to cancel registrations if payment is not received prior to the class start date.
  2. Cancelations must be sent to Training Services 10 business days prior to the class start date via email at training@rainbird.com or faxed to 520-741-6168. Cancelations received up to 10 business days before the start of class will be assessed a $90.00 cancelation fee per student. Once the written cancelation has been received by Training Services, an email confirmation will be sent from Training Services within 48 hours confirming the registration cancelation. If a cancelation confirmation notice is not received, please call Training Services (800) 498-1942 to confirm that the cancelation request has been received and that the registration has been officially canceled.
  3. Cancelation requests received 9 business days to the start of class, will be issued a class credit to be used within 18 months from the date of the canceled class. If you do not use your class credit within 18 months from the original class date, the entire class fee will be forfeited.
  4. Cancelations made the day of the class or failure to appear may result in full forfeiture and no refunds or credits will be issued at that time.
  5. Course enrollment substitutions are acceptable any time up to the day of class. Please contact a Rain Bird International, Inc. – Services Division customer service representative to make course enrollment substitutions.
  6. Rain Bird International, Inc. – Services Division reserves the right to reschedule or cancel the date, time and location of a Training class at any time, including replacing personnel who may be scheduled to deliver the Training. In the event a training class or event is canceled, a customer is entitled to a full refund. Rain Bird International, Inc. – Services Division shall not be responsible for any other loss including travel expenses incurred by a customer as a result of a cancelation or classes that are rescheduled.
  7. If a training class is canceled by Rain Bird International, Inc. – Services Division due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control (e.g. weather, natural disaster), a customer is entitled to a full class credit which must be used within 18 months of the date of the original class for another class offered by Rain Bird International, Inc. – Services Division.  If Rain Bird International, Inc. – Services Division cancels a Training class for any other reason, customers are entitled to a full refund of the cost of the class.  Rain Bird International, Inc. – Services Division shall not be responsible for any other loss incurred by customer as a result of a cancelation or classes that are rescheduled.
  8. As a courtesy to Rain Bird International, Inc. – Services Division customers, every attempt will be made to ensure that customers are notified at least five calendar days prior to the start of the first day of class for any course that is canceled.
  9. If a class is canceled, Rain Bird International, Inc. – Services Division will attempt to contact students by telephone and/or email to arrange for a training credit. Every effort will be made to reschedule a cancelled class or transfer enrollments to a later date.
  10. Late payments shall be subject to a late charge of 10% per annum, not to exceed the maximum permitted by law. Payment shall be made in U.S. dollars.
