IQ v4.0 Technician

This training introduces and defines the role of the IQ™v4.0 system hardware components working with the IQ v4.0 operating platform. Hands on installation activities include communication between the IQ v4.0 and select IQ-NCC Network Communication Cartridges.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

1. Setup, configure and program IQ-NCC-GP & EN Communication Cartridges.

2. Configure and operate IQ-Direct, IQ-Server and IQ-Client Satellite Controllers from the IQ™ v4.0 operating platform.

Suggested Prerequisites

  • The participant should have working knowledge of a landscape irrigation system including sprinkler, valve, and controller installation. This course also requires that the participant have a working knowledge of the Windows 7, 8 or 10 operating system.
