SiteControl Technician

This hardware training is designed to introduce and instruct the technician responsible for the maintenance, upkeep, troubleshooting and repair of the SiteControl Central Control irrigation system. Training is focused on each of the system’s hardware components followed with hands-on installation activities with the Central Controller, Two-Wire-Interface SAT, Two-Wire-Interface LINK and field sensors. Various communication protocols will be demonstrated in both primary and secondary communication paths. Weather station installation & maintenance is also covered.

Learning Objectives


Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

1. List the Communication Protocols available for the SiteControl Central Control System.

2. Define the difference between a 2-Wire and LINK Secondary Communication Path.

3. Demonstrate programming the Pulse Transmitter 3002 and 322.

4. Demonstrate operation of the SiteControl Central Control System using various Primary and Secondary Communication Protocols.

Suggested Prerequisites


  • The participant should have working knowledge of the landscape irrigation system including sprinkler, valve, and controller installation.
